Default Chap 2 progs for Beg. Lin. Prog - 3rd Ed.

It strikes me as odd that all the bash scripts in Chap. 2 of Matthew and Stones - BLP 3rd Ed. have the MS-like "\r\n" ... "carriage return - line feed" ... line endings when Unix/Linux has always used "\n". It DOES make a good example for the use of 'tr', tho. :)
