I think it's a sign of the times, Hal.

People just don't want to take the time to read anything or do any research themselves. It's easier to just post a question and have someone give them the answer than it is to do any work finding the answer on their own.

As I look across the forums in general you would not believe (well, maybe you would :D ) the number of questions posted therein which are easily answered by a quick trip to the documentation. But why bother? It's easier for someone else to do the job for you.

You ask how you can better present the answer to these "where is the code" types of questions. I don't know how you can make it any more obvious than it already is. But like the people who won't RTFM, there is, I'm afraid, nothing you can do about the people who won't RTFF either (That last 'F' is for FAQs). Sigh.
