I hear what you're saying. All I'm saying is that a lot of people might have cluttered e-mail inboxes so even though they subscribed to a forum topic, they might not be able to find anything that pertains to the topic they've subscribed to because their inbox is so full

It would seem that it would be a lot more efficient for you to subscribe to the topic that your interested in. Then you would get notified via email when someone replies.
