I've been working in C# windows forms using the database MSDE.
i need to know if i can encrypt the data when inserting into the databse and decrypt
when retrieving?
it would be nice if somebody can help me with the code.

In ASP aith an Acces database it is possible. As long as the field in the table has the correct datatype, you can do anything (like encrypt) you wnat to the data before it is store. The databse does not care. This is also try for MS SQl or MSDE.

Thre is info on the web about how to create an encrypt scheme.
