Can you put a variable like the example below in a sql query?
I tried this and it doesn't work..:(


 var island = Request.Form("projectIsland");
<%=adoRecordSet(island).Value%>

What exactly are you trying to accomplish?

The code below will work, if your intention is to retrieve the column name form a form and use that name to retrieve the value for that column from the Recordset.

Maybe you can elaborate a little about what you're trying to do.
