Default Search Command

I'm new to the VB world with Access. I have hopefully two easy questions.

1. I have one small table and I created a form to search through the database. However, I don't know how to code the visual basic behind it or if there is another way I don't know how to do it. So, if someone could help me out with some code to get me started I would greatly appreciate it.

2. In an option group of check boxes, is it possible to have more than one check box checked? If so, how to I accomplish that?

Thanks in advance for any help!

1. In your form's design view with the report wizards turned ON, add a command button or a combobox and follow the instructions. You can put a search button on your form, or you can put a combobox that filters data based on what you select.

2. The fact that it's in an option group makes the answer NO. And option group automatically de-selects all others when you choose one. If you want to choose more than one checkbox in a logical grouping, don't put them into an option group. Keep them independent.
