code to clean and modify dbase

Hi,
Just getting started with vba and acess.
I am a demographer and found the need to import large comma delimited files into Access.
Now I want to use VBA and write some programs that remove blank fields and add other fields.
Are there code examples on this site or others that you can point me to?
