Default VBA code convert to SQL

Hi Can anybody lend me a hand on converting the following SQL into VBA?

UPDATE asset_master
SET name='new name'
WHERE ID=1

Try:
strSQL = "UPDATE asset_master SET name='new name' WHERE ID=1 "

docmd.RunSQL strSQL
