Hi,

I have a field in a form named Percent. It is the percentage for acceptable completion of a service task. I have formatted it as percentage in the properties box for both the form and the table properties. It is my understanding if I want 100 percent, I enter 1 and I should get 100%, which I do. However, if I want 50 percent, I should be able to obtain that number by entering .5, but when I enter .5, I get zero (0%). If, however, I enter any number between .5 and 1 (.51 for example) I get 100%. For some reason, I cannot get a percentage amount under 100%.

look at your field property and how you set your Scale set it to two .so it will now store .5 as 50%

Look at the property of the field and make sure that the number of decimal places you want it set to one or more. If it's set to zero, it's going to round off to either 0 or 1.
