In Access 97 while attemting to export a recordset to Excel, I kept getting a page fault. Anaylsis revealed that it was being caused by a memo field in one record which containted letters, quotation marks and other punctuation, and two @ signs. I also received a page fault when scrolling past the field while looking at the table in datasheet view. When I updated the field to contain nothing (""), the page fault disappeared while scrolling but continued to plague the export process which works fine when that field is eliminated from the export.
