Default Outlook 97/2003 Mapi code

I am looking for suggestions for add-in's for outlook 97 and 2003 that would synchronize an exchange mailbox with a .pst. I can't use a third-party software package that installs dll's or makes entries in the registry. I am basically trying to create the equivalent of an ost that can be opened on another machine. I have heard people say that I can use VB and Mapi. Any suggestions on where I can look for some sample code?

Thanks in advance

The best resource for administrative code is:

Microsoft Windows 2000 Scripting Guide
ISBN: 0735618674

This is still the best resource for administrative scripting of microsoft out there. Look it up on Amazon.

If I knew more of what you wanted to do, I could look it up in my copy.

One possible solution to your question is Jmail. Go to http://www.dimac.net/ for the MS Access add-in for SMTP email. Download it from:

Good Luck,
