Default Labels as command buttons

Help!

This should be really easy I'm sure, but can anybody tell me how to alter the format of a label (colour, underlining etc) when the mouse passes over it, thus showing that it is a command button.

I've tried using the mouse move event but although it works after a fashion it is not very good due to flickering and the fact that if the mouse is moved quickly the changed format 'sticks' to the button when the mouse is not over the label.

thanks for any help
