Default Passing variable to a public variable

Hi

I am passing a value from a list box into a Public variable. I was under the assumption that you could access a public variable from anywhere within your project. However when I try and set the variable value as an object on a form I keep getting a name? message.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated as this is driving me nuts.

Cheers
Tony

Hi Tony,

Post a snippet or two of your code and someone may be able to see your problem a bit more clearly. What type of module is your public variable stored in?

Bob
