Can connect to an remot Access DB

1) How can y connect to an remot DB Access(multiuser), if Y use DAO(control), without shareing the DB?
2) I must use Sql Server? How? - Can test on single PC? How?

Hi,

This would require a pessimistic lock, if I am not mistaken. Take a look at record locking and see what options you have.

If you want to open the database as an exclusive user, I am not sure how you would do that.
