I'm trying to get an Access report to output in pcl file to the hard drive. It sounds simple but I'm having a hard time finding the complete solution.

Someone suggested that I sent it to a printer that has it's output device set to "FILE", then when the report prints you can type in the file name and location. However, I need this done in a batch style without any user intervention.

Any ideas?

Many times, we do not realize that we do not have to code(too much) to achive our objectives. You don't mention what part of the solution you have. But i would sugest you to check for the built-in butons, youl find the different outputs for your reports, if you think that one of them may help or solve your problem all what you will have to do is to copy the buttons's code and automate the procedure.
