The short answer is NO.

You can create an MDE from your MDB and then give people who don't have Access the Run-Time version of Access. But to do this, you need to buy the Access Developer's tool first to be able to distribute Access Run-Time for free.

This is a very commonly asked question, so if you search here and in Google for something like

Microsoft Access make exe

Is there an option to convert an .MDB access 2003 file to Visual Studio and compile the converted database to and .EXE file with Visual Studio or .NET ?

I develop applications for Access since 1996 and VBA is very simular to VB.NET and Visual Basic. So, therefore i assume that it would not be a big problem to convert a Access database to visual basic and then convert it to and .EXE file.

PS: Maybe i am wrong about this...

Hi,

I have an Access database file with all the switchboard commands and what I want to do is to try to access the switchboard command without opening microsoft access. Which means i want to access the database without opening access. I am seeing if I can make this file an executable file but i dont think this is the solution. If anybody have any ideas, please help. Thanks
