Database Window hidden

Hi

I've a databases that has a AutoExec macro to run a function when the database opens, my problem is that in order to stop running the function i'm pressing the shift key, however, then i get a blank database window and can't see the tables, queries etc, i'm pressing F11 and it just doesn't work, it's also setup to show the database window under tools > startup

Please help.
