Default Excel Chart Object In Access Report

I have searched for some time for details on using the excel chart object in an access report with an access query as its recordsource.

A sample would be great if there exists such a thing. Microsoft elusive in this matter. They say to remove the Table/Query as the RowSource and everything should work. But the chart still only comes up with the default test data.

Any help here would be greatly appreciated.
