Default help with automation

I am beginning to program with VBA and have written several blocks of code and succeeded, however after I have created an unbound form from which the user can have several different choices that are passed to a dynamic query, my goal is to write some type of code that will automate the creation of a crosstab display. I may not be explaining it well, but in essence I want to show utilization by dollars for several classes of pharmaceutical products and there is no specific number of products at any given time. All I know is that it fluctuates from 3 to about 8. Help? Anyone knows of a good place to get code for crosstab queries and reports?
Thanks in advance
Fran

Fran, can you get a little more specific on this?

Where does the user select the items, etc?

John
