For the columns in a listbox you could possibly use the Me.lstBox.ItemsSelected to populate the label. I haven't tested or played with this aspect, but there would have to be a way.

For columns in a textbox (and for Beth's magically appearing oversized labels for that matter) you can do this. Find the longest name on the list using the Len() function, then set the listwidth to that length times some multiplier. In that way, the list is always wide enough. Be sure to have an upper limit so that the listwidth doesn't get wider than screen width!
