Default Table Creation

When I create a table using the SQL "CREATE TABLE ..." statement, the new TableDef seems invisible until I close and re-open the .mdb. Is there an easier way to refresh the TableDefs collection, using VBA?

Default

I've found that just switching from the table pane to another (queries for example) then back - refreshes it.
