Default Return to original record

Hi I hoping you will be able to suggest a solution for me

From one form I open another form which shows the record from the first so that it can be updated

I then close the second form and would like the first form to be on the same record, at the moment it opens to the first record, which means the user then has to find the record again

I hope that makes sense !!

This is the order of events

1. Open required record on form
2. Open second form to same record so that it can be updated
3. Close second form and reopen first form to original record

Thanks in advance for any help, been trying this for some time now

Best regards
