Default Double Click Event not working on 2016 Executable Database

I have a simple database that I have created using 2016 Access. I have double click event that allows me to switch from one form to another. However, when I save the database as an executable the double click event no longer works. Does anyone know of a fix or have you seen this before? Thanks
