Place an unbound textbox in the detail section of your report. In the recordsource property of the textbox, put "= 1" (no quotes). Set the Running Sum property equal to YES. When you run your report, you should see numbering.

the Running Sum property mention No, Over Group and Over all

I could not find recordsource property of the textbox, put=" 1"
where I mentioned textbox, put=" 1" ?

Please guide how can find it, and how can
geneate numbering in Access Report 2002 ?

Sorry about that. I mean CONTROL source, not RECORD source. I always interchange the two words by accident. In the Control Source of the unbound textbox, enter

=1

And set the Running Sum property to YES.

The Running Sum property Over Group would be used if you have your report Grouped. You would probably use the Over All setting.
