Default ADP Menubar

I've noticed that the Tools-->Customize menu disabled while the ADP is connected.

If the password is saved, your always in connected mode, and this is never available to you.

If you've disabled the SHIFT key on startup, then what are you to do ?

Do you have a master that does not have the shift disabled?
