Try Accessvba.com. Do a search for the error. I have not been able to find any info than what I already know. It is weird, since you have your settings setup correctly.

Are you using any code that maybe changes database backend items such as changing design of tables or queries? Well I tought I ask. I will do some searches and see what I find.

Just a thought...could this possibly be solved by making sure every users computer has the latest Windows and Office updates? My computer has both of them up to date, and creates the lock file on the back end, but everyone else doesn't see a need to keep their computers up to date (for what ever reason) eventhough our IS department has asked us to keep them updated.
