how far to push Access DB ?

i'm about to built a budget DB driven site for someone.
access is the cheapest option for me, as my host charges for mysql, plus i aint used it before!

they anticipate around 250 visitors per day.
would access on a dsn-less jet connection hold up?
how many consecutive users would it handle before it fell over.. ?

Hi I have been told from microsoft the recommended record limit size is near 10,000 records...

In regards to your question about the issue with the number of consecutive users of an Access DB, the limit is 255 concurrent users.
