I need have a database and i need to change the value of a number field by adding one. This is what i have, but it is just not working (no errors, it just doesnt do anything)

tdcdata("totalposts") = tdcdata("totalposts") + 1

any ideas?

whereabouts is this code you've got?
are you trying to update the whole table? in which case you'd want something like:
and if this is not what you want done, what do you want done?
