Help Please Please Please
i have a form and a subform
is it possible to add data in to subform from another form
what i mean is for example a in my subform i want to put a button(add details) and when i click on that it will open another form which will get data from another table and when i select record and click on the add button which is in this form it will put my selected record in to the subform or have a dropdown list when i choose a record it will add the choosen record in to the all fields

Was there any part in particular you did not understand?

If your sub-form uses the same source table/Query as the form you are adding your new record to,then all you will need to do is refresh your data after it is added to your form. Once the data is refresh it will be available in your sub-form or drop down list.

Additional to clarify

Is this what you what to do?
you want to use values of one form in to another form?

Forms!frm_Main!sub_Form_Main!txtName.value = strNewTXTName

when you click on the add the seleceted... what i need to do is add the selected record to the subform

U may have a form with a subform in a one-to-many relationship but i dont think
u could open the subform alone to enter data.U may open the form with the subform (the button is optional) and u may have lookup fields in the subform where u may choose a value as data entry.
