Default Edit registry in vba?

Hi All

I wish to edit a registry key upon opening a database.
How would I make a change to below registry key?

\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Jet\3.5\Eng ines\ODBC\ConnectionTimeout

Any help would be appreciated.

Cheers / Fred

Default

Hi Fred,

Microsoft suggests that VB/VBA can only access the HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\VB and VBA Program Settings. See:

http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/de...ryMadeEasy.asp

There is a sub-chapter on this starting page 576 of Wrox Beginning Access 97 VBA

Hope this helps,

Clive Astley
