Hi,

   I have a form that I have been using for a long time. The back end is on uor network. Lately when I use a look up on the form and the item is not in the list, Access crashes and wants to create a back_up file.

   Any thoughts on what might be causing this and how to fix?

I have had this happen to me before, so I am guessing that it must be a bug or something with Access. Is the combobox meant to allow you to add new data? Either way, you might be able to do something with the NotInList event to trap the error.
