Default Problem with memo field in Access 97
I have upsized an Access 97 back-end to SQL-Server 2000. I have attached the tables in the front-end. Access 97 sees the memo fields in SQL-Server as text field. If a record has a memo field greater than 255, Access shows #error on all fields in that record.

Has somebody any suggestion?

You may want to convert that field to and ntext

I have already tried other types (text, ntext, nvarchar).

Is it showing the #error on the tables or your forms or reports?
