Default DAP's on an Apache Web Server

I have created a database for my systems administrator. [u]There are 6 data access pages.</u> As a test, we have put one data access page as well as the database on an Apache server so he can access the data access page when he goes to other buildings. I suggested that we keep the database off of the web server in case it needs to modified. My question is, if we put the data access page(which is merely a front end correct?) on the apache server, is there a way to make the data access page retrieve information from the database? Is it possible to put a data access page on an apache server and have it successfully connect to the Access database? We were having trouble getting the data to show in the fields. I know this may be confusing so if anybody doesn't understand the question please let me know and I will try to clarify it more. I appreciate any feedback that can be given on this matter. Thank You.
