Default Default Messages on Running Application

Hi experts !
I've been working on an app that happens to have steps where the
user must assist interactively. On the mean time access produces
several default messages that are generic and/or with the wrong
default focus. How could i change the default focus and possibly
the text so it be more fitted to user understanding of what is
going on.
Any help will be welcome.
Regards Penta.

Can you please give us more specifics? What kinds of messages are you talking about? Warnings of some sort?

If you have VBA code that runs a query and you don't want to get those messages, then do this

DoCmd.SetWarnings False
'Run your query here.
DoCmd.SetWarnings True

Remember to set it TRUE again or you'll lose all warnings from then on! Not good!

Thanks Greg !
That was really helpful. But i was wandering if it was possible to alter
the default behavior of the warnings.Example: Default focus: Yes; No. Change to:
Yes; Default focus: No ?

By "default focus" do you mean which button is the default answer to the question posed by the dialog box? You can't change that. What you would have to do is create your own dialog box and set a default there.

Sure Greg,
I should have thought that before.
Thanks again.
