I'm new to access and am trying to recreate a similar form to the Northwind Database "Orders" form. In this form the customer ID is a combo box and when a customer is selected the rest of the bill to/ship to fields automatically fill in. I have reviewed the "order's form structure. I've created a similar select query, but I can't get my fields to auto fill.

Any help would be apprciated.

This could be a number of things - the first would be ensure that each control on the form is bound to a field in the recordsource. To find out if each is bound, look at the properties for a control such as textbox, and under the data tab, see what is entered in the Bound Property.

Once we get that fixed, we can work on the rest of it.

The "Orders" form in Northwinds is bound to the orders query. Each of the text boxes contols are linked to the same query. I have each of my text boxes set in the same manner. One thing I did notice is that in the northwinds, in the customerID textbox, it uses a "Select Distinct" query for it's row source. I'm not able to recreate this. I can only get a "Select" query, yet it's design structure looks the same.

My goal here is to select a vendor, have the vendor's details and unique items be diplayed so I can select them to place an order.
