Is it possible to specify a datafield in the underlying table or query as the source for a property of a control in Access?

What control do you want to bind a field to and what property?

Are you trying to do something like If it's fred who opens the form turn is Blue and if its Jill turn it red? You can write code that would do this. If you can tellus exactly what you are trying to do and give us some example data then we should be able to work something out. The guys on here are prety good.
