Default Cannot update currently locked message

Hi

We've just started to have problems with record locking. "Cannot update currently locked" message when 3 people are trying to update the database. We're wondering whether this is a permissions problem as one of the users has a new PC (new computer name) and the problem only began the day after the PC was delivered.

Database is split with .mdw file for security and no record locking in place - needs to be multi-user.

Would be grateful for any help.

Lindsey:)
