Default urgent please...form disappreared

Dear friends,

As I try to save my form at work, a message popped up telling me that there is another user exclusively try to access my database" then it asked me to click OK, after I clicked OK, I can not open the same form that I was working on anymore. The file name was still there. I was working on my own USB Disk and the database is not shared.

Could someone help me how to get my form back and why it did that.

Also, how do you link all forms together as page 1, 2, and 3 etc....

Thanks so much.

Linh

Hmmm, you will have to move the database off the USB key. Can you access the database? You can see the form but can't open it? I am not sure what is happening there.

Don't do development on temporary drives.

If you want to make a form into pages, you can use the tab control. See the Northwind database Employees form for this technique in action.

Thank you MMcDonald, I appreciate your response. Yes I can still access the database and other forms, except that form that I can still see the form name but unable to open or do anything to it.

why is that development not efficient on temporary disk, MMcdonald.

thank you and take care. L

Only thought i would have is move it from the memory stick, then create a new DB and extract everything from the old one, see if you can open it now. Also try a compact / repair on your DB
