Default outputto command

I am using the output to command on a data imput form. I have the onclose setting set to run a macro to output the data from a query to an excel file. Is there any way to default the file name to match a field on a table.

Thanks.

Hi ajmil11,

Just working on your question... i have one of my own, are you trying to use a field from the record you are inputting in the file name?

I need to know because it will govern how the code is written.

thanks
