I am developing a complex Access application for a non-profit organization. The form has a tab control, with a subform containing another tab control embedded in one of the tabs. On this subform I have a few labels to identify major sections of the form. However, for an unexplained reason whenever I run the form, that subform flashes when I mouseover the unbound labels; the effect is very annoying. Has anyone encountered this before, and knows of a way to stop it from happening?

I've run into this before. What is the style of your subforms? Are they sunken with borders? What I've found out, is that your subforms should be set to flat, with a transparent border and that eliminates the flash effect.

Border for the subform is set to None (None/Thin/Sizeable/Dialog are my only options) and special effect is set to Flat. Flashing still occurs... could it have something to do with the controls that are on the tab control? Although I did make sure it was highlighted when I dragged the labels to the form.

You're right, the border should be set to None. You might try the same thing with the controls on the tab control.
