Hi,

I would like to use the Date and Time picker (ActiveX) in Access 2000 on a form as the base for a date criteria. It is the first time I have used this control and am possibly missing something really obvious(!?) but "what is the control value name?". Also, ideally I would like to rename the control to something meaningful, like, DATE but the control doesn't seem to function too well if you rename it, so I have not renamed it.
I don't seem to be able to use the selected date value in the control in a query, which is kinda why I want it! Any ideas? Would I have to "move" the value selected to a text box first and then run the query using the value in the text box? I already have this as my previous solution using a slightly different control (a more 1970's version of the calendar control) and hence if I do need to move the value to a text box it is pointless changing the control...
