Default Excel via Access

I have linked a sheet of excel to my access database but there is a problem!

First of all when I'm opening access database I can't open the excel sheet!
Furthermore, there is a connection between two pc, so we can see one to the other! But if I open the database from the first, the other pc can't open the excel sheet and instead!

If I'm opening from the second pc the database, and in the other pc it's already opened at the same time it's getting too slowly!

Can you please help me!

Are you using Access to Update the spreadsheet or just show use the data?

If you are just using the data from the spreadsheet, try importing the spreadsheet each time you open or use the data from the database.

If you are using Access to update the spreadsheet, try storing the data in Access, and then exporting it to the spreadsheet when you need the spreadsheet.

In any event, you won't have much of a dynamic interaction between the two such that you can update the spreadsheet and see it in Access, or vice versa.

If you have one copy of Access, try splitting it in two, and then having a local copy of the front end on each machine with a single copy of the back end on one machine.

The only I really want is when I'm opening in two pc at the same time the access database not to be slow, and furthermore to show me in the specific fields I have the data I'm taking from Excel sheet!

I hope I helped oy,

Thank you!
