I was wondering if it is possible to pull a users system date and time when they enter a new record and attach it to the record being entered in a separate field. I need to be able to point to specific times when a manager asks why an employee did not record their time and thought that this might be the easiest way while not depending on the employee to be responsible for the entry. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

The simplest way it to add a field to the table with a default value of: Now()

You do not even need to add the field to a form or the form's query. Whenever a record is added, the field will automatically be filled out with the default value.
