Default scroll bars

I copied an Access database from a machine with Windows 2000 and Access 2000 to one with Windows XP and Office 2002. Now my scroll bar "area" on a subform shows even when there are no records in the subform. On the older system the scroll bar "area" showed only when needed. What's the deal?

You may need to change the settings on Windows XP. Windows XP uses the rounded edges on a form, which take up more space than the regular Windows 2000. I had that same thing happen to me.
Try that first.
If this becomes a bigger issue, just change the actual form design to make it smaller, some users may get XP and like the rounded edges and this will drive them crazy. (happend to my users)
