Default PLZ HELP

Hello Frnds.
Can you please solve my problem??

My problem is:
I have one table which has three fields: ID, first name, last name.
What I want to do is---I want to make a form which will contain datasheet of first name of my table. Other form will contain a text box of last name. When I will click any first name of any customer corresponding last name will appear on the other form's last name textbox. Please tell me how to do this.

Thanks.

You want to have 2 forms, one with first name only? And One with Last Name only? Why would you do that? Why not have one form with a LastName, FirstName combo box, or some other look up, like a query on first names that opens a continuous form, and then allows you to select a first name and show you all the people with that first name?

Why would you look up people by first name? (scratching head)

Thanks for your reply.

Actullay I had given just an example. I just wanted to keep 4 or 5 records in one form and 10-12 values in another form corresponding to previous form.

Anyhow, I have solved my problem using MASTER and CHILD property.

Again thanks for your co-operation.
