Default Less than 10 characters in field

Hi everyone,
  Again, drawing a blank. How do I run a query on a field to know if it has less than 10 characters in the field?

Hi

Use Len function in your query

Len([Field_name])<10

Thanks, that is exactly what I was looking for. Never knew about the Len function.
