Default Date function issue

Here's the issue...

I've designed a db where the user is able to click a 'date' command button. Clicking on this button, opens another form (frmCalendar) an ActiveX control form, where the user can select a specific date to insert back on the original form (frmTaskLog). When they click 'ok', I want this date to go and populate that specific field ONLY. I have multiple fields on the form that have this function but only want that field populated with the corresponding 'date' command button selection.

Any help? Or did I not explain it well enough?

Bryan

I don't think you created this form correctly. You should have the date picker on the first form. There is no reason to go to a second form to choose a data. Just tell the date picker to store the date value in the field on your first form. (I don't use them much so you may have to either remove the original date field or hide it).

Did this help?

Didn't try it yet, but will.

Background...

When I last created a similar database, back in 2000 on Office XP, I had the command button open a frmCalendar, where the user could select the date they wanted, click another command button (OK) and the date would populate back into the field next to the date for xxx individual.

Geez, I wish we could upload here, it'd make it so much easier!
