Crosstab Query Reporting Question
Hi All,
I have a problem that has me running in circles, so i have come to ask for some assistance. Here goes
i have a crosstab query that works perfectly, the query design is as follows
Field 1 = Stores (Group By and Row Heading) - txt field
Feild 2 = RunNumber (Group By Column Heading) - txt field
Field 3 = Amount (Sum, Value) - Curr Field
nb no data in this crosstab is static, it changes monthly and each months data is set via a simple date param.
Now i can create a report for this no probs, but the report uses the Row and Column Headings as fields,(which is how the reports work)
My Prob = as the data in the Row and Column fields changes monthly i cannot have a std report stored in access to use each month. Is there a way of being able to output this data to a report each month without the need to create a new report or export to excel, rft etc.
My goal is to have the end user click a cmd button and the report will print for the month they are working in.
I realise this may be a major task to post here, but even if a few pointers could be given to me that could set me off in a positive direction would be great.
