i got the file name using the FileDialog.. now i need the contents of the excel workbook to be imported into a form(or a table) when a button is pressed so that i can update the contents and export them to the workbook.. Can anyone please help

do u know how 2 use macros?there are macros that perform import and export actions from and to other file formats,pls look at macros,design d actions in macro and attach the macro to the (on click event in a button),i hope this will help.

go 2 file menu,get external data-import then foloow the wizard to import from excel into a table in access.

create a form that has its record source source set to the imported table's name

3.after altering the data in access,then riaghj click the tavle and click on export then indicate the file u want to export to.bye
