How can create bombow box in report ?
I want to create combow box in report,
when click the report it ask list of table field in combow box ?

In property I change to BOMBOW BOX
and give in property control source &CONTRACTOR_ID


When I run the report, it ask the CONTRACTOR_ID
I want the it should display all CONTRACTOR_ID in combow box
from the contractor table how ?

please send the steps?

Hi,

   Do you want to find a record on the form, or is this to launch a new form or report by Contractor? If the latter, then do this:

Create a combo box using the wizard, and tell it you want to get the values from a taboe or query inthe database.

Then select the table with the contractorID, then select the field ContractorID - if you just want the ID. The order Ascending.

That should do it.

Oh, I completely missed that you want a combo box in a report. This can't be done.

You do not place comboboxes in reports. They go in forms. You put it there and choose a contractor. Then have a button next to the combobox with code similar to this

DoCmd.OpenReport "YourReportName", acViewPreview, , "[YourContractorField] = '" & Me.YourComboboxName & "'"

This will open the report and only give those contractors you seek. Change YourReportName, YourContractorField, and YourComboboxName to your actual names instead of my fake ones.
